Hi,
About 10 days ago I photographed some tiny Ephydrids drinking in water-filled ruts in a forest. Unfortunately, my camera could not deliver better quality. Could it be Parydra? The location is southwestern Germany, about 25 km west of Stuttgart.
Any information is welcome!
Many thanks, Sundew

Comment by Tony Irwin: "The pictures are certainly Parydra, possibly hecate, but It's difficult to be certain without a specimen."
Many thanks to him!
