Hi All I managed to get one phpto of this fly before is flew off. It was large, as large as I have seen a fly in the UK. From digging about it seems to be one of the flesh flies. Is there anyway of IDing this? Yours, Gareth Gman attached the following image: [102.34Kb] |

Hi, Sarcophaga sp. (Sarcophagidae). There are dozens of similar looking species. Little chance to identify it from a photo. Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |
