I observed this possible carcelia spec. on 18th Juni 2022 in Den Helder, Netherlands. I found it in a park. Can someone tell me which species is this. Thanks a lot. Greetings, Mario Renden Mario Renden attached the following image: [52.54Kb] |

Hi Mario, a male C. Iliaca, I think. Oaks/Thaumetopoea in the neighbourhood?

the vertex is too narrow for iliaca. I'd say a male C. bombylans (yellow tibia 2, yellow basicosta, no discals on tergites, yellow humerus), which is pretty exciting in NL ! Theo |
