Mosquito - Aedes japonicus?

This melancholic-looking mosquito recently sat in the stairwell of our house in south-west Germany (20 km west of Stuttgart). Could it be Aedes japonicus? Many thanks for helpful hints, Sundew Sundew attached the following image: [255.76Kb] |
