Hello, I didn't expect a Bibio so late in May. So I thought "What a large Dilophus!" (8-9 mm). But then I saw, it was a Bibio male. Simply a late B. marci? Near a small brook, northwest Germany. Hi Juergen, we can't see the spurs, we can't see the wing venation ... little to go on. Marci is out of the question. Could be leucopterus male, Theo |
