Found in late April on Danube Island in Vienna. The key (https://home.hccn...ml#Thereva) led me to T. oculata, but I also saw this thread about T. cinifera. The halteres are dark, and no femoral bristles are present on either front or mid leg. A Thereva in late April is very early, or? My Diptera observations (and other living forms) can be found here, and corrections or comments over there would also be appreciated. |
