Hi,
found on 10-March-2022, at least 5 of them perching on a sunlit wall near some gardens in Hofheim am Taunus, Hessen, Germany
Length approximately 0.7 cm
Can it be identified?
Thanks,
Stella

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol
