Hello,

I photographed this leaf mine on a Arctium tomentosum. in Kokkola Finland July 18th 2020.
Is it an Phytomyza mine? And is it possible to identify the species?

Thank you in advance,
Pentti

Hi Pentti, most probably a P. lappae but this one can be confused with the polyphagous Chromatomyia syngenesiae:

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
