Ornithophila is extremely small. This one reminds me of Pseudolynchia.

You are right, it is Ornithophila. I overlooked the third crossvein about eight times before I noticed it ! The colouration of the scutellum suggests metallica rather than gestroi.
Maybe not all metallica are as small as in my collection.
