Hi flyforum,

This braun-black-tiny fly (about 3-4mm) got huge red eyes and a plumo arista.
femur seems grey-black.
Underside thorax is white, upside black, a bit glossy.
Looking at BM-Cu, I see a crossvein lightly but not clear.. (Shock ?)

place: on bridge in Amsterdam forest
date: 14-12-2007 15.30 h

Is it Drosophilidae?, what else ?

Robert,

I am quite confident this is Drosophila subobscura.
