Today I found this fly near a forest path sitting on blossoms. Can somebody tell me which species this is ?
Data: Germany, North Rhine-Westphalia, D-59846 Altenhellefeld, sitting on the blossoms of the giant goldenrod.

Friendly Greetings

Volkmar

Hi Volkmar, these are Pollenia female and males. With the dark abdomen probably P. amentaria.
Greetings, Eric Kloeckner
