Hi there,

I would like to identify this fly I photographed a few years ago.
I thought the yellow hairy thorax would make it easier to identify but I could not make it even to the family level despite having scrolled through most of the gallery.
Could it be a Muscidae ?

Date : 15 July 2017
Location : Moussy 58700 (Nièvre), Central France
Habitat : Garden of a house in a small village surrounded by crops

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
