Hi,
I have photographed this very small hymenopteran 40km NW of Paris.
Length about 2.5-3.0mm.
I think of a Pteromalidae but I'm not sure. Is it possible to go to the genus?
Thanks for any help

I think I can see only four tarsomeres and, together with the general appearance, I then would make it Eulophidae.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
