Hello, I found this Tachinid fly in the Bentwoud area in the west of the Netherlands on 14 may. It looks like Medina collaris, but if i'm not mistaken, this genus is not easy to ID from picture? Yes, Medina male but the dusting pattern on thorax contradict collaris. It is probably M. separata, the common parasitoid on Coccinellidae. Theo |
