Hello, this is my first thread. I have collected a Tachinidae in the central mountains of France, near Le Puy en Velay. I think it is Peleteria meridionalis. Could you confirm or deny this determination? Criteria : Red coloured abdominal drawings not very developed, antennae first and second segment red coloured, antennae second segment longer than the third, absence of abdominal macrochaetes on the first two tergites, black legs (Source: Robineau-Desvoidy, J. B. (Jean Baptiste), 1863, Histoire naturelle des diptères des environs de Paris (https://www.biodi...ge/8683883) If I am not mistaken, this is a Mediterranean fly, and my place is a small continental climatic mountain. Is it climbing with global warming? Good day to all. PS: You can see the photographies on INaturalist: https://www.inatu...s/73178546 license : CC-By-SA Edited by Abalg on 07-04-2021 12:17 |
