Hi, Since I have not found in Muscidae and Anthomyiidae a species which fit with our specimen, I suggest that a Tachinidae should be possible. Egle is a hairy genus usually found early in spring. Mid-June may be too late.

Thanks John for your comment, but it seems to me that Hyaline (glassy) wings are observed in Egle. This was not the case for our specimen. Regards, Jean-Michel Garel. |
