Hi Geomyza balachowskyi and G. tripunctata are recorded from the Faroes. But records are earlier than 1993 (when G. nartschukae) was described This one is probably Geomyza tripunctata/Geomyza nartschukae...but is it possible to say which one. I have only this one female from this location. Location ling near water. Although Geomyza tripunctata can be rather 'reddish', G. nartshukae is never this dark. So, should be G. tripunctata.
