Netherlands, 1 Jun 2025 Observation: https://waarneming.nl/observation/353984500/    Very unsure. I am not seeing true dorsal setae on the first tarsomere of the hind tibia, but the first tarsal segment is not shorter as the second and there are no true apical setae on the hind femur (only subapical anterior?). Do not believe it can be anything else, so they might be broken or are the small hairs enough? Edited by smol on 13-06-2025 12:08 |

Looking through a lot of references, I notice these dorsal hairs on the basitarsus of the hind tibia very vaguely. More a note to myself, but it underlines the care that must be taken with photographs, especially when you are photostacking...
