Lucilia sericata(female) is the correct name? Thank you very much. Slovak Republik, Terchová region on the Malá Fatra, approximately 700 m above sea level 25.09.2011.

No, not L. sericata, as it has only two postsutural acrostichals. Lucilia is a difficult genus. This is a female of either caesar, illustris or bufonivora, I think. See thread http://www.dipter...d_id=30170 and another one cited therein. |
