There are a few photos from Stéphane Brule in French Guiana. Could anyone confirm whether I have guessed the correct family ... and possibly add any more information?

I know I am mixing species in the same thread (for brevity) but really I only expect family-level IDs and I will label each with a letter code

Sciomyzidae.
Maybe a Thecomyia. Wait for Nikita to confirm this genus.

Interesting flies - I hope Nikita has time to cast his eye over them Grin
