Hello,
I found this little fly with 6 dark spots in 2 rows on Verbascum. Suillia? Which is the right genus? Is species ID possible?

Lauxaniidae for sure. My guess is Sapromyza, but species distinction is a bit difficult (see http://www.dipter...mp;pid=109.

It looks like Sapromyzosoma cf. quadripunctata. This species has only 4 spots, but according to my experience number of spots sometimes is variable.
