A Ephydridae found in France, Clairmarais, the 21 august 2014, in a forest, near a sort of puddle,

What about the size? 4-5 mm or 3-3,5?

I did not measure it, but in my memory she seemed quite small.
maybe 3 mm ?

There are 2 species with darkened fork of R2+3. This one is more likely Parydra quadripunctata if really about 3 mm and besides this - tibiae completely black (without red apex and base as in P. littoralis, which is larger in size).
