Seen Hakon put a similar looking fly through here a couple of days ago, determined as Lasiomma. Is this one same genus? Roger Thomason attached the following image: ![]() [161.17Kb] |

One for the study only !! It seems to be Lasiomma female But i can't see clearly if the prealar seta is longer or not. When it is...it could be L.latipenne (large light greyish species) When it is shorter, there are more species possible. Joke ![]() |

Hi Joke It took Homer a while to find photo's of this fly that were of any use (I think they are what you're looking for, Homer's not sure). Regards Roger hope it's the right fly..... ![]() Roger Thomason attached the following image: ![]() [165.47Kb] |

It seems to be shorter. Now we have a little problem, there are 4 species left now (L.picipes /seminitidum,anthomyinum,strigilatum) I only have one male L.anthomyinum, so i can't compare. Do you want to go further, or are you happy with Lasiomma species, because it will be difficult and doubtfull when we go on... ![]() Joke Edited by javanerkelens on 18-09-2009 11:31 |
