France, Savoie Alps, 1770 msl, 25th July.
Collected on currant bush (Ribes), prusumably searching for sawfly larvae.
I think this is Hyalurgus cruciger,

It is Hyalurgus alright, but I am not sure about the species.

My crucigera are from Siberia and look different (they really have black crosses on the tergites).

Hi Theo, I checked the pteropleural bristle which is much longer than the katepisternal bristles so that should mean H. cruciger(a) using the Central European Key, close up view below,
