Hello, this fly was found on a field near the village of Bantikow in Brandenburg, Germany on July 7. Am I right with Gymnosoma clavatum? Thanks in advance, Hans Haleun attached the following file: clavatum1.jpg Edited by Haleun on 11-08-2017 14:54 |

All Gymnosoma are extremely similar, so please don't add "clavatum" unless you have clear indications. In the Gymnosoma universe, this 'clearly' is not clavatum. Most likely rotundatum. In any case, a male. Theo |

Thank you very much, Theo. Next time I will be more aware in my assumption. Best wishes to you! Hans |
