Fly seen 15 May in Eastern part of the Netherlands
Could this be Dolichopus brevipennis?

if the lower postocular cilia is black i think you ar right. if they are pale its maybe discimanus or migrans

Mid femur apparently with several subapicals; therefore, it must be Dolichopus claviger Stannius, 1831.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
