Dear dipterists,

what's this? Is it a dipteran at all? I found it while digging a hole in my garden to get some loam. Well, in the strict sense I found it inside that hole, but I'm pretty sure it must have fallen into it...

It is a dipteran, Crumomyia pedestris (Sphaeroceridae).

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
