on May 30th, I found this fly in the foothills north of Vienna, Austria. Can you please help me identify it?

Correct. However, formosa is not a valid name anymore. I am preparing a revision during the last 20 years, hopefully, it should be finished sooner or later.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
