Hello,
This Cylindromyia fly was encountered at an altitude of 2,624 m in the Pyrenees (Pic de Gallinas).
No discal setae, black legs and antennae, and three pairs of setae on the scutellum. It appears that there are setae at the posterior angle of tergite 2.
Could this be Cylindromyia brevicornis?

Yes ! Notice it is a male (long pulvilli) with broad vertex and silvery parafrontals, which excludes brassicaria. And you can actually see the hairs / bristles on ventral side of tergite 2. Nice.
