Hello,
this little fly (3 mm.) was found on 19 of April in my garden, on nettle.
Locality : Luçon 85400, near La Rochelle, west of France

We think this species looks like Hexomyza simplicoides, but here the tarsi are not dark.

Thank you in advance for your advice.

Regards.

Christian

Agromyzidae, Agromyzinae, Agromyza spec. The white halteres exclude Hexomyza with black halteres. Well to be seen, the straight stridulation file along the lateral edge of syntergite 1+2; it is present in males and females of the genus Agromyza only (see von Tschirnhaus, M. 1972, Beiträge zur Entomologie 21 (1971): 571-579; For ident. of species male genitalia are necessary.

Super !
Thank you very much von Tschirnhaus for your quick answer.
I will try to catch a male in the garden but it will be perhaps difficult.

Best regards.

Christian
