The usual species on caterpillars is Forcipomyia fuliginosa.

Ceratopogonidae(?) biting Trabala sp. caterpillar
Forcipomyia or Atrichopogon.
By habit, parasite of caterpillar, it may be Forcipomyia fuliginosa....
