date: 27.04.2020; location: in Hamburg, Germany, in my garden which is close to a park with large trees and a pond; about 3-4 mm; family Chloropidae? perhaps a Meromyza species? Thanks a lot for any ID help! Best regards, Volker Volker Achterberg attached the following image: [169.72Kb] Edited by Volker Achterberg on 22-03-2021 09:52 |

Thaumatomyia notata: No thickened hind femur, flattened scutellum with close-set scutellar setae and apparently narrow genae. Tose extended glands at the tip of the abdomen also are good indicators for that species.
