date: 20 June 2019; location: in Hamburg, Germany, in my garden which is close to a park with large trees and a pond; could it be Exorista larvarum? Thanks for any ID help! Sarcophagidae typically have three dark stripes on the thorax. Tachinidae rarely do outside of tribe Dexiini, or have a broad middle stripe (see Meigenia and Nemorilla). |
