I found a photo from the Netherlands with a fungus gnat that looks exactly like this photo (as far as I can tell) & it was listed as Neoempheria striata. I find very few other photos to compare it with though. Thanks for your help.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
