On holiday in Tessin (Switserland, 17 July 2007) I saw this unusual threesome of Therevid flies! They flew all three together over some distance, so I assume the second male was really physically connected to the couple. After they settled down for a moment, they flew away again and only then broke up. Any suggestion as to which species this might be? Habitat: ca 1500 m altitude, meadows and coniferous woodland.
