Hello,

I photographed this fly near Monticchio (AQ), Italy on June 13th 2020. I think it is a Dolichopodidae, but is it possible to identify the genus or species from these photos?

Thank you in advance,
Emanuele

It might have been most interesting to collect the specimen. Considering the enlarged mid tarsus, this might be quite an interesting species. Perhaps next time. By the way, I am currently involved in the updating of the IT Checklist so any addition is more than welcome. Cheers, Marc
