Hi

I found this one (not alone) in my garden last week.

France, Bas Rhin, Otterswiller.

Could it be Aedes japonicus ? (according to the scutum) I saw he's present in Haut Rhin since 2013 but I haven't found any mention in Bas Rhin. Apparently more in woods, but here it's in my garden (neighborhood)

Thanks

That looks OK for japonicus, which I believe is established in your area.

Thanks. I only found mentions in Haut Rhin, but nothing in Bas Rhin (all both are in Alsace). Lots of publications for albopictus but less for japonicus.
