Hello, I would like to ask the ID of this Tachinidae, photographed on May 17, 2020 in Gangwon-do, South Korea. Maybe close to genus Eurithia? Any form of help is greatly appreciated! Specimen not collected. wonwoong attached the following image: [149.34Kb] Edited by wonwoong on 17-11-2020 15:47 |

Yes, a Panzeria = Ernestia. I You’d need to check the genitalia. I found linguacercus spec. nov. in Ussuri.... but it is probably P. puparum melanopyga. Theo |

Nice! Some article, like this one (https://doi.org/10.11646/zootaxa.4816.4.6) mention this species as "Panzeria melanopyga". Which one is eligible name? -Wonwoong Kim |

Some authors consider melanopyga just to be a variety of puparum, it is a matter of opinion. Theo |
