Hello,

Two weeks ago we were on holiday in Malta.
I found two spiders that I never had seen.
After searching in books and on the internet I think it could be Argiope lobata.

I'm not sure that the spiders are the same specie because of the difference in colour...
Is there someone who can help me out please?

Thank you Jorge!

Wasn't sure that they were both A. lobata.

Tim

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
