I met this Conopid this afternoon, size about 7 mm., on the riverbank of the river Sil (Orense) Spain. at about 200 mts., in deciduous forest
clearing.

Sorry but I was unable to upload the photo yesterday evening.
I checked the extension and tried again but failed repeteadly.
I will try again this evening as son as I get back home.
Nontheless Im sure the species photographed is a conopid and as far as that I did see at least three specimens flying, though only able to take picture of one.
On the other side during the same day I also took some pictures of Volucella bombylius other diptera which I will sned promptly.

Its been rather warm this autumn and there are still plenty flies buzzing arround here up north.
