Hello, Here is a brown fly that was inspecting the rotten strawberries in my brother's garden not far from the Baltic coast. The photo was taken last week. I find it difficult to tell all these brownies apart, so I shall surely continue to bother you with them - please stay patient... Without chaetotaxi of pleura there are two possibility: Elgiva solicita and Ilione albiseta. The last is tipical mid-summer species. On the other hadn, the first has all-year activity.
