Hello, a golf course in North Spain has requested me to identify these flies that are quite common in the golf course. I have collected some flies by sweeping around my body. Thery are a little bit annoying but nothing surprising.

I really appreciate if somebody have any idea about the species. I also appreciate attempts of ID.

Many thanks in advance.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
