Hoi Gordo, I think it is a female of Eristalis tenax, a very common species of the family Syrphidae. Normally very easily to determine by the 2 rows of hairs running over its eyes, but they are not very well visible here. In spring the species is overall a bit darker in colour than for example in autumn. The species is then very abundant!
