Drosophila repleta group

in the UK the true Drosophila repleta is not uncommon in pubs, especially ones with unclean beer cellars.

A few years back my local pub had a major infestation, but their cellar was very clean. It was eventually tracked down to a leaking glass washing machine.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
