SW France last night, attracted to the light, 2 - 3 mm long. I'm not sure we can identify a genus from this pic, I certainly cannot propose any, but the wing veins and spots could perhaps give a lead. Lippo attached the following image: [163.53Kb] Edited by Lippo on 20-08-2020 14:34 |

Difficult to be certain, but this looks very like Chironomus striatipennis (= C. strenzkei)
