 Hi,

I have photographed this medium-sized fly on the edge of a forest pond, 20km west of Paris (2020.08.03).
Size about 6-7mm long.
Any idea of its identity? Thanks for any help,

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
