Besseria cf reflexa, Tachinidae, Hungary, August 2007

I think that this fly is Besseria reflexa. The identification is based on partially some hard data, and partially distribution data from Hungary. My only image. Am I right? Besseria is correct. Very difficult genus, impossible to be sure from pic alone. Distribtutional information often helps with Besseria. SO if Mihalyi gives reflexa for Hungary, you might be right. Theo |

Several species occur in Hungary. All of them seem to be local. Besseria seems to be confined to the Bukk area. I'll name this Besseria cf reflexa.
