Thanks Paul Is the Platypalpus, Hybotidae covered with a key in this book? Ref[The Tachydrominiinae (Diptera: Empididea) of Fennoscandia and Denmark, Part 1]: https://www.nhbs.com/the-tachydrominiinae-diptera-empididea-of-fennoscandia-and-denmark-part-1-book or not? I have collected the specimen for further examination And I see that in norway there is only a some species with pictures in the national registration forum artsobservasjoner.no but 39 species are laid into the database of the genus platypalpus. species with pictures: Platypalpus cursitans Platypalpus major Platypalpus candicans Platypalpus macula P. sordudus P.scandinavicus P.exilis P.minutus P.nigritarsis For me it looks like Platypalpus candicans. The only one with 3 black dots on each of the abdomen segments. But there are probably others with same caracteristics. I have measured the specimen to 4.5mm and will put some additional pictures. best regards Rune Edited by runetk on 30-06-2020 20:15 |
