It is possible yes.
The description (see http://micropezid...my/term/32) states:
Hind femora yellow with one distal dark ring = true
Fore coxa long and bulging, yellow with a proximal blackening and a distal cream patch = hard to tell
Wing short, not quite reaching the end of tergite 6 = true
The pattern on the pleural membrane of the abdomen is darker than usual, this may be the dark image
There is no colour on the hind margins of the tergites as in M. corrigiolata

There are some records of this species for France.
Can you let me have the Lat/Long (Google Earth) or post it on iNaturalist (see https://www.inatu...tanypezids) too

Thank you very much for the confirmation!
I added the references under the photo with the precise location.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
