small Rhagionid - Symphoromyia immaculata

Hi, Recently I came across this small, inconspicuous fly that turned out to be an interesting Rhagionid. With its kidney-shaped 3rd antennal segment and the not swollen first segment it should be Symphoromyia immaculata. Dou you agree? The locality was a dry wood edge in Baden-Wuerttemberg, 20 km west of Stuttgart. Thanks for confirmation, Sundew Sundew attached the following image: [266.06Kb] |
